Bearabul Harley's Halo

Harley was our first Bullmastiff and was a delight to live with for the two and a half years we knew him. He was sold to us as a pet and we loved his huge personality from the day he arrived. He was full of fun, affection and energy and made friends with all our other animals, including our thoroughbred racehorses and stud rams.

Oldworld Shady Lady Lulu

2001 - 2011

Lulu was the sweetest dog we have ever owned. She had a very kind and loving nature and adored puppies and children, who were attracted to her gentle calmness. Lulu did not enjoy the social whirl of showing, being most happy pottering quietly around at home being the affectionate and tolerant 'Auntie' of all our young dogs.

Ellimae head bitty

Banobrae Soul Sister

2009 - 2012

Our beautiful Ellimae was an extremely happy and outgoing dog and loved any opportunity to meet people or go exploring. Ellimae had one litter before we lost her prematurely. We miss her cheerful presence.

Ch Bulavista Penny Arcade

2004 - 2015

Polly was our foundation bitch at Banobrae Bullmastiffs. We are grateful to Sue and Vaughan Ellis of Bulavista Kennels for letting us have her. There was never a dull moment with Polly around as she was always ready to play the clown and loves being the centre of attention. Her litter to Ch Blackslate Boston Blend (Imp USA) was the start of our Banobrae line of Bullmastiffs

Rescue -

Tiger was our beloved rescue boy whom we adopted from the RSPCA in Bendigo at the end of 2003 when he was estimated to be about 18 months old. Tiger was not a pure Bullmastiff; having more than a dash of Mastiff in him. He was a big fawn fella weighing 85kgs but was a true gentleman with a very aristocratic and dignified bearing.

"Dogs love their fiends and bite their enemies, quite unlike people
who are incapable of pure love and always have to mix love
and hate in their object relations"
-Sigmund Freud
